Install .NET 8 Framework
For the operation of the software Before/After Images from version 3.06 the .NET 8 Framework from Microsoft is required.
If Before/After Images V3.06 or higher is started and .NET 8 is not installed on the PC, Windows displays a message and the download of .NET 8 can be started directly.
Below is a description of how to install .NET 8 manually.
The following steps are required for download and installation:
2) Download 'NET Desktop Runtime 8.nn.nn'.
Depending on the version of Windows installed on the PC:
- x64: Windows 10/11, 64bit-Version.
- Arm64: Windows 10/11, 64bit-Version, PC with ARM-Prozessoren.
The Before/After Images software currently only supports x64-bit versions of Windows.
3) Install 'NET Desktop Runtime 8.nn.nn'.
Start the file downloaded under 2) by double-clicking on it. After clicking the 'Install' button, the installation will start.
After the installation is complete, click the 'Close' button.
4) Restart PC
To be on the safe side, the PC should be restarted after installing the .NET 8 Framework.
The PC is now ready for the installation and operation of the Before/After Images software from V3.06.
