Weather/meteo and climate
For our work
SwissGlaciers.org ans
SwissNature.org we are looking for ways to show the relationships between weather/climate and glaciers, or fauna/flora. So far, several online tools have been created that allow users to explore meteorological and climate data for Switzerland interactively.
Meteo and climate data from MeteoSwiss
For our work
GletscherVergleiche.ch and
SwissNature.org, we are developing a module that can calculate analyses from MeteoSwiss measurement data and display them graphically. The following graphics are available:
Trends in global radiation, temperature, precipitation and sunshine duration in Switzerland
This module attempts to visualise the Evolution of global radiation, temperature, precipitation and sunshine duration in Switzerland since the year 2000 and to determine the trend of these variables.
Deviations of temperature, precipitation and sunshine duration from the climate standard values
These online tools can be used to determine the deviations of temperature, precipitation and sunshine duration from the
1991 - 2020 climate standard values of numerous MeteoSwiss measuring stations for
individual climate regions (or the whole of Switzerland) and/or altitude ranges:
Comparison of monthly and annual climate standard values 1991-2020 in Switzerland
This online tool allows you to compare the monthly and annual climate standard values 1991-2020 for Switzerland by climate region and/or altitude range:
Climate norm values 1991-2020 in Switzerland
This online tool can be used to graphically display the 1991-2020 climate norm values for Switzerland for climate regions and/or time ranges according to altitude (above sea level):
Weather forecast Switzerland
This module can be used to display the weather forecast values from COSMO-2E for numerous locations in Switzerland in tabular, colored form.
Overview of the measuring stations
This page lists the MeteoSwiss measuring stations for which graphics and evaluations are available on our website.
